1. The Importance of a Solid Base

Resin bound surfacing is a "bound" system, meaning it’s flexible but needs a rock-solid foundation. If the ground underneath moves, the resin will eventually crack.

Our Process: We assess your current ground levels using precision tools and spirit levels. If your existing base isn't up to standard, we dig out and install a new, MOT Type 3 sub-base followed by an open-graded asphalt.

2. Levels and Drainage (SuDS)

A driveway that holds water is a failed driveway. During our quoting process—whether we are at a site in Tamworth or further afield—we carefully calculate the "fall" of the land.

Precision Matters: We ensure the water drains away from your house and into the ground or a dedicated soakaway. This is what makes our installations SuDS compliant, meaning no puddles and usually no need for planning permission.

3. The "Wall & Edge" Factor

Many people forget that a resin driveway needs a "frame" to hold it in place. This is why we often quote for wall work or block edging separately from the main driveway area.
